Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers seeks Seasonal Production Assistants for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. The role is on-site with three shift options and requires occasional weekend and overtime hours as needed for efficient packaging, labeling, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• WMS experience is a plus.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Lead or supervise as needed in daily tasks.
• Review employee training and suggest best practices.
• Check status on open work orders for the day.
• Check label room inventory against needs.
• Move inventory in the WMS and create LPNs for production.
• Ensure Safe Quality Foods procedures are followed and safe environment maintained.
• Monitor damage prevention and report progress to management.
• Monitor fiber locations for inventory and cleanliness.
• Check pallet yard for inventory levels and organization.
• Verify pallet and case counts and adjust as needed.
• Audit forklift drivers for policy compliance.

Job description

Pacific Coast Producers, a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking to fill Seasonal Production Assistants with qualified, capable individuals for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. The Distribution Center is a 1.5m sq. ft. packaging, labeling and distribution facility with approximately 400 employees. The DC operation supports both retail and foodservice customers and labels, cases, and ships nationwide approximately fifty (50) million cases every year. Pay Rate

$22.00 per hour. This is a seasonal, on-site role, with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. Three shifts available.

Key Responsibilities

• Prior lead or supervisory experience required.
• Review employee training and offer solutions for best practices.
• Check status on all open work orders for the day.
• Check label room inventory and match against daily/weekly label needs.
• Move inventory in warehouse management system and create LPN's for production.
• Ensure that all Safe Quality Foods procedures are being followed and to maintain safe working environment.
