Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers in Lodi, CA seeks a Seasonal Production Assistant to support our Distribution Center operations. This on-site role involves assisting with inventory, label room tasks, and daily production activities across three shifts with overtime as needed.

Key duties include ensuring Safe Quality Foods procedures, checking orders and inventory levels, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Safe Quality Foods procedures are followed and workspace stays safe.
• Audit forklift operations to ensure policies and standards are followed.

Pacific Coast Producers , a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking to fill Seasonal Production Assistantswith qualified, capable individuals for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. The Distribution Center is a 1.5m sq. ft. packaging, labeling and distribution facility with approximately 400 employees. The DC operation supports both retail and foodservice customers and labels, cases, and ships nationwide approximately fifty (50) million cases every year. With its advanced technology, commitment to quality control, and dedication to sustainability, our Distribution Center is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour. T his is a seasonal, on-site role, with occasional weekend and overtime hours required as needed for our Distribution Center in Lodi, CA. Three shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior lead or supervisory experience required.
• Review employee training and offer solutions for best practices.
• Check status on all open work orders for the day.
• Check label room inventory and match against daily/weekly label needs.
• Move inventory in warehouse management system and create LPN's for production.
• Ensure that all Safe Quality Foods procedures are being followed and to maintain safe working environment.
• Monitor damage prevention and keep management informed of progress.
• Monitor fiber locations for inventory levels as well as cleanliness and organization.
• Check pallet yard to ensure inventory levels and organization meet company standards.
• Verify pallet and case counts and adjust where needed.
• Audit forklift drivers to ensure policies and standards are being upheld.

Job Requirements:

• Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft office, Word, Excel. Etc.
