Job summary

The Fresh Market in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring seasonal team members across Grocery, Front End, Early Morning Production, Produce, Deli, Bakery and Meat & Seafood departments. You’ll help guests, stock shelves, weigh and scan products, and keep the store neat and inviting.

This temporary position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. A passion for exceptional service and a HS diploma are preferred; experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Age requirement: 16+ or 18+ in Deli, Bakery or Produce.
• Preferred: experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality; HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide excellent guest service, engaging with guests to learn needs and create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests across departments.
• Safely handle food products for sampling and maintain quality standards.
• Merchandise and stock products to create a hospitable shopping experience.
• Weigh and scan items, handle cash and provide change where appropriate.
• Greet and assist guests, collect shopping carts, and help with housekeeping duties.
• Slice and prepare meat, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions as needed.
• Present professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
