Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking seasonal team members to support our grocery, front-end, deli, bakery, meat, seafood, and produce departments. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.

This role is temporary and designed to cover peak periods in our stores. You will deliver extraordinary guest service, help guests select meals, merchandise shelves, handle cash where needed, and maintain clean, inviting departments.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service
• Age minimum of 16 (18 for Deli/Bakery/Produce areas) and ability to work weekends
• Experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and help guests create meal solutions
• Merchandise and stock products, assisting nearby guests throughout the day
• Weigh and scan items, handle cash and give change as needed
• Gather shopping carts and assist with general housekeeping
• Slice and prepare meat and cheeses and ready-made meal solutions while maintaining quality
• Present a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards
