Job summary

Community Council of Idaho is seeking a Preschool Aide for a seasonal full-time position, starting in April and running through December. The role supports the Preschool Teacher in delivering a classroom program aligned with Head Start standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum, health checks, developmental screenings, IEP/IFSP planning, record-keeping, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment for young children.

Qualifications

• Assist in planning and conducting classroom activities to foster language, social, emotional, physical, intellectual development.
• Assist in daily health checks of children.
• Support development screening and help implement IEPs/IFSPs for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teacher with curriculum planning and activities for assigned children.
• Monitor progress of individual children and supervise classroom in the Teacher's absence.
• Prepare, maintain, and present records, documents, reports and reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records.
• Help develop and maintain dual language in the classroom.
• Support safe and supportive learning environments and transitions to kindergarten.
