Job summary

City of Pasadena is seeking a seasonal Pool Manager to oversee pool operations, safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service for residents and guests. You will supervise assistants, lifeguards, instructors, cashiers and managers in training, ensuring all duties are performed to the Aquatics Recreation standard.

Responsibilities include daily operations, training, discipline, documentation, and coordinating with the Aquatics Office.

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
• CPR with AED certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Bloodborne pathogens training.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, ensure safety, cleanliness and quality customer service.
• Oversee staff including lifeguards, instructors, cashiers and managers.
• Lead weekly in-service trainings and uphold aquatics standards.
• Implement coaching and disciplinary actions per city policies.
• Maintain records and submit reports in HydroApps software.
• Schedule adherence and attendance policy compliance.
