Job summary

The Shield Co. Management, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Start Technician to deliver a 5-star customer experience by performing initial pest control services for new customers.

You will apply chemicals and utilize manual treatment methods to reduce pest activity, working on indoor and outdoor sites. You’ll engage customers to clearly explain service features and benefits, maintain accurate records, and adhere to safety standards while supporting company goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform initial pest control treatments for new customers, indoors and outdoors.
• Explain service features and benefits while delivering excellent customer service.
• Follow routes, communicate with office staff, and maintain accurate service records.
• Maintain equipment, vehicle and safety gear in good condition and use technology to manage appointments and customer information.
