Job summary

The Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island, FL is seeking a Full-time Seasonal Pastry Cook to join our culinary team from October 2026 through May 2027.

You will work with the Pastry and culinary teams to create pastries, desserts and baked goods to the highest standards; a two-year culinary education is preferred and at least two years of pastry experience is required, with Food Safety Certification.

Qualifications

• Two-year culinary school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years pastry experience, preferably in a private club or upscale environment.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Creativity, an artistic eye and attention to detail required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef in creating, preparing and presenting baked goods according to Chef's specifications.
• Assist in overseeing pastry cart and dessert table setup and presentation.
• Ensure highest quality and presentation of pastries and desserts.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Pastry Chef to develop a cohesive dining experience.
