Volante Farms Inc in Needham, MA is seeking seasonal, part-time Field Workers to join our growing team. You will assist in day-to-day Agriculture Department tasks on our 30-acre farm, including growing, transplanting seedlings, and maintaining fields.

The role is 2-3 days per week (weekends included) and involves both indoor and outdoor work under varying weather conditions. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift 50+ pounds.

Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center it has over one hundred years in the community-- specializing in homegrown and locally grown produce, ornamental and vegetable plants and seasonal decorations. More recently, several new departments were added as part of a large renovation. These include a locally sourced grocery department, butcher shop, seasonal ice cream stand and a still growing food service component including a deli, bakery, coffee shop, and two kitchens preparing food for retail sales; soups, salads, and sandwiches; catering for businesses and family events; pastries and desserts.

We are looking for seasonal, part-time Field Workers to join our growing team!

Field Workers will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Agriculture Department by:

• -growing, cultivating, and maintaining produce grown on our 30 acre farm
• -transplanting seedlings
• -maintaining fields
• -attending to crops

The Field Worker will work in both indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.

This position is 2-3 days per week (weekends included).
