Job summary

The City of Danville is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker to support Parks & Recreation facilities. You will help with upkeep of parks, athletic fields, and public structures, including mowing and trimming, cleaning restrooms, and basic repairs.

You must be able to work outdoors in all weather, with a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• 40+ hour workweek during peak season (April–December).
• Team-oriented and able to interact with a range of city officials and the public.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance for Parks & Recreation facilities.
• Mow athletic fields, weed and trim trees/shrubs, and clean restrooms.
• Perform minor repairs, collect trash, and operate power equipment.
• Assist Public Works leaf pickup as needed.
