Job summary

Metroparks Toledo is looking for a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Assistant to help maintain our parks and ensure they are enjoyable for the community. In this role, you'll perform various tasks including cleaning, litter pickup, and supporting park services.

The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work in all weather, has a valid driver’s license, and is willing to learn. No prior experience is needed, making this position a great opportunity to learn and grow in park operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• No prior work experience required.
• Some knowledge of home and lawn maintenance operating procedures and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various maintenance duties like cleaning, litter removal, and event set-up.
• Maintain park grounds, including painting and trail improvements.
• Support horticultural duties such as mowing and weeding.
