Job summary

Maryland's Training Division seeks a Seasonal Trainer to deliver classroom and field instruction for park staff across Maryland, indoors and outdoors, with travel statewide. The role requires proficiency in course creation and lesson plan development and involves coordinating instructors and facilities.

You will enter data in Excel and Google Suite and lead trainings in First Aid/CPR, search and rescue, small engines, chainsaw, and tree care.

Qualifications

• Experience training others in chainsaws, emergency operations, medical response, maintenance, or interpretation.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in incident command or search and rescue is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules instructors, reserves facilities, and orders meals for training.
• Enters data using Excel and Google Suite programs.
• Leads classes in First Aid/CPR, Search and Rescue, Small Engines, Chainsaw, and tree care.
