Job summary

The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a charismatic Bartender for Horse to Water, our seasonal outdoor beverage experience. You will craft cocktails, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks while delivering warm, attentive service in an open-air setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar, handling POS transactions, ensuring responsible beverage service, and collaborating with servers and kitchen staff to create a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending or beverage service experience; upscale or high-volume hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe and Alcohol Compliance Certifications required.
• Previous experience outdoors or in resort/high-volume settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages with quality and consistency.
• Engage guests with warmth and professional, personalized service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar and service area.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and company policies.
• Provide efficient service during high guest volume and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Handle cash and POS transactions; work with team to ensure seamless guest experience.
