Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Seasonal RN to join the Orthopedics team for a 6-month temporary night shift.

You will provide safe, comprehensive nursing care for patients, collaborate with the healthcare team, and meet licensing and ACLS/PALS requirements as described.

This role offers a competitive pay rate of $60 per hour plus a $5 night differential and eligible benefits through the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Required 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• ACLS as of start date for most units (New grads within 90 days).
• NRP for Women’s Center as start date (within 90 days for inexperienced).
• NIH within 90 days for ICU/PCU.
• PALS, CPI within 90 days for ER; PACU PALS within 90 days for inexperienced.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Other duties as assigned.
