Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center seeks a Seasonal RN for the Medical Cardiac unit. This 6‑month temporary role offers 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) with a $60/hour pay rate plus a $5 night differential. Provides safe, competent nursing care in an acute medical setting and requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable.

Must demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and professional development through UHS network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• BLS certification at time of hire from AHA or Red Cross.
• Two years full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Demonstrate service excellence and effective communication with the care team.
• Lead and support the healthcare team; perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain basic computer and documentation skills as required.
