TEKsystems in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to support high-volume order processing during a critical seasonal period. You will enter orders via email, mail, fax and online submissions, verify accuracy, and update customer data in Microsoft Dynamics and internal systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative, customer service, order entry, data entry, call center support, or office support experience.
• Experience working in a high volume transaction processing environment preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders received through Email, Mail, Fax, and Internet/online channels.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy before entry.
• Maintain high levels of speed and accuracy while processing daily order volumes.
• Enter and update customer information within Microsoft Dynamics and internal systems.
• Investigate missing or incomplete information needed for order fulfillment.
• Resolve order discrepancies and identify data errors before orders are processed.
• Maintain orders placed on hold and proactively work toward resolution.
• Follow up with customers regarding missing information, order clarifications, and completion requirements.
• Communicate primarily through email with occasional phone outreach.
• Provide professional customer service and timely responses.
• Process incoming mail and supporting documentation.
• Maintain records and documentation related to customer orders.
• Communicate customer feedback to appropriate internal teams.
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned.
