Job summary

Crate and Barrel is hiring Seasonal Operations Associates in Novi for the holiday season. You will help keep shelves stocked, displays complete, and stockrooms prepared to fulfill store orders, while acting as a brand ambassador and delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and supporting store leadership in achieving sales and operational goals. Weekend availability, including after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas, is required, with part-time

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
• Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist leadership with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked and available for customers.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including curbside pickup orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by leadership.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in accountability for profitability and operational excellence.
• Promote current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, and collaborations to customers.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security and safety per leadership guidelines.
• Promote teamwork by working together safely and efficiently with all associates.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
