Job summary

Crate and Barrel seeks Seasonal Operations Associates to support stock, displays and curbside pickup while delivering excellent customer service. You will assist leadership, maintain organized stockrooms, and engage customers with product knowledge to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Ability to move and/ or lift up to 50 pounds; team assistance for heavier items.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the surrounding days of Christmas.
• Part-time roles require two or more weekend days plus at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform stock checks and keep stockroom organized.
• Ensure products and displays are stocked and available on the sales floor.
• Process packages, curbside pickup, ship from store, and BOPIS orders promptly.
• Support store goals and standards set by leadership.
• Engage customers with product knowledge to drive sales.
• Lead by example to support store profitability and operations.
• Promote current promotions and store services to customers.
• Follow loss prevention and safety guidelines per policy.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.

• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.

• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.

• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.

• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.

• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.

• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.

• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.

• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
