Job summary

Crate and Barrel is hiring Seasonal Operations Associates for holiday coverage. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, stock replenishment, and curbside/shipping support, with a focus on teamwork and store standards.

You will assist leadership, stock shelves, handle packages, and help drive sales while promoting current promotions and ensuring safety and loss-prevention practices. Availability includes weekends after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move and/ or lift up to 50 pounds; heavier merchandise with team assist
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
• Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom
• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates
