Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking Seasonal Operations Associates in Paramus, NJ. The role centers on delivering a stellar customer experience, keeping shelves stocked, and supporting a fast-paced store environment during the holiday season.

You will assist leadership, manage stock, and engage customers with product knowledge while promoting store promotions and services. Weekend availability after Thanksgiving and around Christmas is required; roles are part-time with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Availability to work weekends after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time availability for two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform stock checks and keep stockroom organized.
• Assure shelves and displays are stocked and ready for customers.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.

What you'll bring to the table...

• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
• Part‑Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night
