Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Operations Technical Specialist to support the readiness of our seasonal tax office network. You’ll help offices open, operate, and close on schedule with hands-on operational, technical, and logistical support.

You’ll work with District Operations Coordinators, Technology Implementation Analysts, and field leadership to install hardware, configure office setups, maintain facilities, and ensure brand standards across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Experience setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and office technology.
Ability to travel between office locations as required.
Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, seasonal role.
Strong organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Support setup, opening, closure, and relocation of seasonal tax offices.
Install window clings, lightboxes, open signs, and ensure brand compliance.
Perform custodial tasks and routine building maintenance.
Identify maintenance issues and notify the District Operations Coordinator.
Install, remove, and support PC hardware across locations.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and document incidents in the case management system.
Deliver supplies and maintain inventory across offices.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and support readiness goals.
Participate in required training and complete other assigned duties.
