Job summary

Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking a part-time seasonal supervisor for lift operations. You will assist in supervising night lift attendants, relay communications from Lift Captains to Supervisors, and help train staff in safe operation and required regulations.

Role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and documentation to ensure guest safety and smooth night operations across lifts and stations. Prior lift operations knowledge and comfort with physical tasks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams and training staff in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
• Knowledge of lift operations and safety regulations is preferred.
• Experience with guest service and safety focus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises up to 10 staff and ensures shift coverage.
• Trains staff on lift operation techniques and safety rules.
• Maintains lift ramps and mazes; handles end-of-day tear-down.
• Prioritizes safety and guest satisfaction during operations.
• Assists with scheduling and performance coaching of staff.
• Completes lift operation documentation and reports.
