Schweitzer Mountain Resort is seeking a Seasonal Lift Operator to lead a crew of up to 80 staff, emphasize safety and guest satisfaction, and coordinate lift operations under Lift Captains. The role includes scheduling, training, and documentation while maintaining strong communication with Supervisors.

The position requires ability to work outdoors in all weather, comply with ANSI standards, and assist with ticket validations and ramp/maze setup as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead up to 80 staff in lift operations.
• Strong commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate communication from Lift Captains to Supervisors.
• Experience in training and documenting staff performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ANSI compliance at all lift stations.
• Maintain professionalism and communicate lift Captain needs to Supervisors.
• Assist in break rotations and lift station operations.
• Train new and current staff in lift operations and safety.
• Support managers in safe daily operations and budgeting.
• Maintain radio coordination with mountain ops across the day.
• Assist with ticket validations and ramp/maze setup.
• Shovel snow and assist guests as needed.
