Qualifications

• Must be at least a high school junior and have a strong interest in environmental education and outdoor recreation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to engage diverse audiences in outdoor education or recreation.
• Basic knowledge of natural/cultural history of the region.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports Mobile Outreach with educational programs, community events, office work, animal care, cleaning, and other duties.
• Delivers outdoor educational programs to promote environmental education and stewardship.
• Assists with environmental education programs at parks and off-site locations.
• Participates in community events or projects as assigned.
• Demonstrates organizational and communication skills; assists in equipment prep and maintenance.
