Job summary

Crystal Mountain, operated by Alterra Mountain Company, seeks a Rental-Demo Supervisor to lead daily Rental & Demo operations. You will manage a team of up to 30, coordinate with Ski Storage and Tune & Repair, and ensure a welcoming guest experience while driving performance and revenue.

The role requires strong leadership, operational acumen, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions, including weather and guest demand. This is a seasonal position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management and/or supervisory experience in a high volume rental shop.
• Must be able to ski or walk to all locations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with payroll/timekeeping and staffing decisions.
• Seasonal position with potential summer opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support Rental & Demo employees during daily operations, providing clear direction and accountability for performance and guest service standards.
• Assign and deploy employees based on business volume, operational needs, and guest flow to maximize productivity and minimize wait times.
• Create a positive, inclusive, energetic, team-focused environment that encourages engagement and guest satisfaction.
• Provide coaching, training, recognition, and feedback to employees per policies.
• Coordinate with Ski Storage, Tune & Repair to maintain workflow and guest service across departments.
• Monitor guest flow and adjust staffing to improve throughput and ensure high service levels.
• Manage timekeeping and payroll processes and monitor labor expenses.
• Lead by example with a visible presence during high-volume periods.
• Assist with onboarding and training, ensuring team readiness across operations.
