Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a part-time/seasonal Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock displays, fulfill orders, and support curbside pickup and delivery. You will greet customers, build relationships, and learn wine, spirits, and beer knowledge while following all laws and safety guidelines.

You will assist with promotions, ads, loyalty programs, and maintain a safe, clean store environment. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required; delivery duties may be included.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and a safe store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies (if delivery is added as essential function).
• Seasonal role may be short term, with option to apply for non-seasonal role.
