Role Summary

Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to members by identifying their needs, assisting with financial transactions over the phone, explaining products/services, and resolving issues. Follow established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Branch Operations: handle deposits, drafts, verify cash, process mail-in deposits and loan payments, perform file maintenance, process credit card payments, sell Visa gift cards, and balance cash drawers daily.
  • Assist members with account openings/closings, address changes, stop payments, and check holds. Support loan applications and inquiries. Handle night deposits, check orders, and mail account packets. Flexibility to work in various regional branches including Brentwood, Franklin, Goodlettsville, Nashville, LaVergne, Bowling Green, KY.
  • Support Member Service Call Center: answer inquiries, process transactions, resolve issues, identify cross-sell opportunities, and assist with online/mobile banking questions.
  • Support Membership File Maintenance: perform various administrative tasks as needed.

  • Deliver accurate, courteous, and professional service
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer daily
  • Respond promptly to in-person and phone inquiries
  • Process transactions error-free
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work environment
  • Stay knowledgeable about credit union products/services
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 to 12 months in a similar role
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Skills: Courtesy, tact, diplomacy, ability to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer keyboard
