VillageMD in New Jersey is seeking a seasonal Patient Service Representative (PSR) for CityMD locations. You will greet patients, register them, coordinate appointments, and ensure timely turnaround with a friendly, urgent-service mindset.

The role requires a High School degree, excellent communication, typing ~55 wpm, and the ability to work in a high-volume setting. Bilingual skills are a plus depending on site location. Pay rate is $18.25 per hour; anticipated end date 02/27/2027.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume service environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and a team player.
• Typing around 55 wpm; strong computer proficiency.
• Bilingual skills may be required or preferred per site.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Register patients and coordinate intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with paperwork as needed.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
