Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center – Collier campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med-Surg on a seasonal basis. The unit is the 3RD Floor with a 3x12 shift schedule from 7PM to 7AM.

The RN will deliver patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and staff, and ensure adherence to nursing protocols and safety standards. The role involves assessments, medication administration, and participation in life-saving interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• Seasonal/PRN or contract-based shift work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Perform assessments, document findings, report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborate with care team to plan and evaluate care.
