The Registered Nurse (RN) on Med Surg Nights at Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier campus delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• RN license with state licensure.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain infection control, monitor equipment, and ensure patient safety.
