Job summary

The Outlets at San Clemente is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Tech to oversee repairs in mall common areas, including tile, walls, ceilings, lighting, and HVAC. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of maintenance experience.

Knowledge of electrical systems is preferred. Physical work includes lifting up to 50 lbs and operating equipment like forklifts and lifts, with overtime and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of general maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical repairs and lighting systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate forklift, scissor-lift, and boom lift.
• Good communication with guests, tenants, and ownership.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the Center’s common areas.
• Perform repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections.
• Record and report completed repairs and items needing attention.
• Respond to tenant calls and work orders promptly.
• Assist in setups and takedowns for events.
• Complete maintenance work orders on schedule.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Keep shared workspace clean and organized.
• Communicate inventory needs to management for supplies.
• Perform biweekly lighting checks.
