The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a dependable Maintenance Associate to join our team for the season. You will help keep the property safe, clean, and well-maintained for guests and staff, handling routine repairs and preventative maintenance.

This full-time seasonal role runs now through December with potential to transition to a full-time year-round position. We value hands-on work, teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction at Witham Family Hotels.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Respond to guest service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with general upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and seasonal property needs.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and equipment.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with groundskeeping and outdoor upkeep as needed.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
