Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel reservations, PBX, front office, or hospitality customer service preferred.
• Luxury hotel or resort experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Opera or similar reservation systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and approved channels.
• Create, modify, and cancel reservations in Opera or the booking system.
• Explain room categories, rates, deposits, and cancellation policies clearly.
• Verify guest information, dates, payments, and special requests.
• Send confirmations and review reservations for accuracy.
• Handle deposits and payments according to hotel procedures.
• Suggest upgrades and enhancements based on guest needs.
• Answer calls promptly with proper Palm House etiquette.
• Direct calls to rooms/departments and relay messages accurately.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other teams to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain guest privacy and secure handling of payment data.
