Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, room presentation, and guest service.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safely use housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
• Ability to organize assigned work, meet room-readiness timelines, and maintain consistent quality.
• Ability to communicate guest requests, room status, maintenance needs, and safety concerns clearly.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Respect for guest privacy, personal belongings, and confidential information.
• Availability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays during the October–May seasonal period.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the role, including prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching, and kneeling; pushing housekeeping carts; and lifting or carrying linens and supplies, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and suites according to Palm House standards, including occupied rooms, departures, and arrivals.
• Make beds and replace linens, ensuring a crisp, polished presentation.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Dust furnishings, vacuum carpets, clean floors, and maintain all designated room surfaces.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and guest supplies according to established placement and quantity standards.
• Remove trash and recycling and transport soiled linens to designated areas.
• Check each room for cleanliness, presentation, and readiness before reporting it complete.
• Provide turndown service and assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
