Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Server Assistant to maintain dining room setup and ensure guests receive the high level of service associated with our brand. You will assist with table maintenance, food and beverage delivery, and support to kitchen and waitstaff in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and prior experience in service, with the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and work a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines.
Ability to work autonomously, motivated and results-driven.
Knowledge of proper placement of china, glass, and flatware for table settings.
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintains table maintenance in the dining room, clearing and re-setting tables.
Delivers popovers, butter, and pours water.
Delivers food and beverages to guests as indicated by kitchen tickets.
Maintains the bus station and beverage areas.
Learns table numbers and sections in the dining area.
Assists kitchen staff and service staff with service needs.
Assists waitstaff with service needs, refilling beverages and running food from the kitchen to the dining room.
