Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Server Assistant to sustain dining room setup and support high‑level service standards. You will help clear and reset tables, deliver beverages and food, and assist both kitchen and service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, prior food and beverage experience, and a professional appearance. The role requires standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in serving food and beverage
• Knowledge of table service guidelines
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Focus on table maintenance in dining room, clearing and resetting tables
• Deliver popovers, butter, and water; deliver food and beverages as per kitchen tickets
• Maintain bus station and beverage areas; learn table numbers and sections
• Assist kitchen and service staff with requests; restock and set up expeditor station
• Assist waitstaff, refill beverages, run food; set up dining room with coffee, ice, tea
• Maintain dining room hygiene; report to supervisor; lift and move objects as needed
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
