Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman in New York City seeks a BG Client Concierge Representative to be the primary contact for customers via our Customer Care platform. You will respond to inquiries, create lookbooks, craft email copy, resolve issues, and process transactions with a commitment to exceptional service in a fast-paced luxury environment.

This seasonal, full-time role runs from September/October through late December/early January and is not eligible for benefits.

Qualifications

Prior experience handling client inquiries and transactions on a luxury retail platform.
Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Responding to client inquiries via phone or email.
Exceeding customer expectations with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Recommending merchandise based on product knowledge and customer preferences.
Utilizing vendors and product categories knowledge for assistance.
Timely follow-up on customer requests and commitments.
Collaborating with team to create a welcoming environment.
Using mobile devices to communicate with customers and expand business.
Engaging clientele tools to grow personal business.
Promoting BG Loyalty program benefits to clients.
Developing long-term customer relationships.
Maintaining audit compliance and accurate records.
Creating personalized gift lookbooks and polished email copy.
