Job summary

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a Seasonal Bell Staff member to warmly welcome guests and assist with luggage and directions. This guest-facing role focuses on creating memorable arrivals and departures with professional, proactive service.

Responsibilities include escorting guests, guiding parking, explaining hotel amenities, and staying attentive to guest needs during shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and overnight coverage. A clean appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist arriving and departing guests with warmth and efficiency.
• Escort guests to the front desk or guest rooms while handling luggage safely.
• Acquaint guests with hotel amenities, hours, and services.
• Provide directions and recommendations for on-site and local experiences.
• Assist with parking and vehicle retrieval, including both automatic and manual transmission cars.
• Maintain awareness of lobby activity and respond promptly to requests.
• Participate in overnight coverage when required and uphold service standards.
