Job summary

Bighorn Trout Shop, a fly shop and lodge in Fort Smith, MT, invites applications for a Seasonal Full Time Cook to craft three-course dinners and prepare river lunches for guides.

Work is 5 days a week in a rural Montana setting, with meals and housing provided. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, support guest dining, and coordinate with lodge management to meet dietary needs and guest requests during the season from April through October.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen (lodge or restaurant preferred).
• Independently maintain high standards in hospitality operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to lodge guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare three-course dinners for up to 40 guests each night.
• Prepare river lunches for guides to take on trips.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the lodge kitchen.
• Coordinate with lodge management on guest schedules and dietary requests.
• Work with kitchen staff and servers as a team.
