Innovative Ag Services in Iowa seeks a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to support Masonville, Manchester, and Independence locations from September through November. You will handle counter sales, calls, and grain-related tasks while traveling between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned workplace at the specified time; notify supervisor of lateness or absence.
• Conduct counter sales and handle incoming calls in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Weigh grain and farm supply products; grade incoming grain.
• Assist in processing daily location grain tickets as needed.
• Provide marketing assistance to grain customers.
• Communicate grain transactions and transportation needs.
• Maintain inventory control, perform physical counts, and ensure accurate billing.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by Location Manager.

This position will support our Masonville, Manchester, and Independence locations during the 2026 harvest season. Some travel between locations will be required.

As our farmers prepare to hit the fields this fall, we’re looking for a seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our frontline from September through November. If you’re ready to help provide the support, solutions, and supplies that keep the 2026 harvest season moving, we want to talk to you.

Primary Objective

To provide customer service and accurate accounting functions at the location for the benefit of IAS and its member owners.

Major Accountabilities

• Report to assigned workplace at time specified; report late arrivals or absences to supervisor prior to start time
• Conduct counter sales and process incoming calls in a friendly, courteous manner
• Conduct weighing of grain and farm supply products; grading of incoming grain
• Assist in the processing of daily location grain tickets when needed
• Provide marketing assistance to grain customers
• Communication of grain transactions and transportation needs
• Inventory control, physical count and accurate billing
• Accept and carry out any other assigned tasks by Location Manager

Physical Requirements/Environmental Adaptability

• Requires static strength to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects with a minimum weight of 50 pounds. Also flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Also trunk strength and ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time. Some tasks involve repetitive motion.
• Agricultural Environment - Possible exposure to seasonal weather, outdoor conditions, and agriculture products.
• Personal Protective Equipment may be required for some tasks.
