Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is seeking a seasonal Customer Service Representative to support field operations from September through November in Andrew, IA. You will assist customers, handle counter sales, weigh and grade grain, and help with daily tickets to keep the harvest moving.

You will report to the Location Manager, perform multiple tasks, and provide marketing help to grain customers while maintaining friendly service and accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Location Manager and arrive on time.
• Conduct counter sales and handle incoming calls courteously.
• Weigh grain and grade incoming grain for accurate processing.
• Assist in daily grain tickets processing when needed.
• Provide marketing assistance to grain customers and communicate needs.
• Coordinate grain transactions and transportation requirements.

As our farmers prepare to hit the fields this fall, we’re looking for a seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our frontline from September through November. If you’re ready to help provide the support, solutions, and supplies that keep the 2026 harvest season moving, we want to talk to you.

Primary Objective:

To provide customer service and accurate accounting functions at the location for the benefit of IAS and its member owners.

Major Accountabilities

• Report to assigned workplace at time specified; report late arrivals or absences to supervisor prior to start time
• Conduct counter sales and process incoming calls in a friendly, courteous manner
• Conduct weighing of grain and farm supply products; grading of incoming grain
• Assist in the processing of daily location grain tickets when needed
• Provide marketing assistance to grain customers
• Communication of grain transactions and transportation needs
• Inventory control, physical count and accurate billing
• Accept and carry out any other assigned tasks by Location Manager

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
• Ability to organize, deal with change effectively, and work on multiple tasks concurrently.

Physical Requirements/Environmental Adaptability

• Requires static strength to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects with a minimum weight of 50 pounds. Also flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Also trunk strength and ability to use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time. Some tasks involve repetitive motion.
• Agricultural Environment - Possible exposure to seasonal weather, outdoor conditions, and agriculture products.
• Personal Protective Equipment may be required for some tasks.
