Alterra Snowshoe Resort is hiring seasonal line cooks for the winter season at Snowshoe, WV. End-of-November to early-December start dates are available, with on-mountain housing options and perks.

The pay rate starts at $15–$18 per hour, with mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts. Stock and prep responsibilities, cooking with the kitchen team, and strict cleanliness and safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Culinary degree for Line Cook III.
• 0-3 years of culinary experience depending on placement.

Responsibilities

• Stock inventory and set up kitchen stations with necessary supplies.
• Pre-preparing food for service (chopping, cutting, mixing, sauces).
• Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen.
• Ensure high quality and timely plating of dishes.
• Follow nutrition and sanitation requirements with proper handling.
• Deliver guest orders accurately by recipes and instructions.
• Prepare and stock ingredients for other meals as posted.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Executive/Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
