Job summary

Islander 71 Fish House & Raw Bar is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join the kitchen team during our peak season from March through August. This role is responsible for executing dishes consistently, maintaining station organization, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service.

We are looking for cooks who already have solid kitchen experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience.
• Line cook in a high-volume restaurant strongly preferred.
• Able to work AM or PM shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute menu items consistently according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned station.
• Set up and break down stations for service.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service while maintaining food quality.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and other stations during service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Assist with prep tasks and general kitchen support when needed.
