Job summary

Under Canvas is seeking a Line Cook for our seasonal operations in the White Mountains, Dalton, NH. You’ll work across grill, sauté, fry, prep, and pantry stations, supporting the live-fire kitchen and guest dining experiences.

You’ll follow food safety protocols, collaborate with the Back of the House team, and help deliver quality dishes for diverse guests year-round in outdoor settings. This hourly position requires adaptability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure and act resourcefully in unpredictable situations.
• Collaborate professionally with guests and team members.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety.
• Contribute to high-quality menu items and positive guest experiences.
• Communicate clearly and timely with team and supervisor.
• Assist in menu planning and operational improvements.
