Job summary

Under Canvas seeks a seasonal Line Cook for our Zion field location. You will work in live fire kitchens across grill, sauté, fry, prep, and pantry stations, delivering high-quality dishes while prioritizing safety and sanitation.

You will join a team dedicated to guest satisfaction, flexibility in outdoor conditions, and supporting various dining experiences for families and individuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required by opening date or before starting food/alcohol work.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Friendly team-player.
• Line or grill cook experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure and act decisively in unpredictable conditions such as weather or guest needs.
• Collaborate professionally with guests, kitchen staff, and other departments.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Prepare and plate dishes with proper prep and portioning in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly and timely with team and supervisors.
• Contribute ideas for specials or operational improvements.
• Support overall operation to deliver quality menu items and guest experiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
