Job summary

A regional commercial aquatics firm is seeking seasonal Lifeguards to join their team in Germantown, Maryland. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring safety at pool locations by monitoring areas, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent guest service. The ideal candidate should hold relevant certifications and be physically able to perform rescues. This role offers flexible scheduling and a great opportunity for first job experience.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements for lifeguards (typically 15–16+).
• Ability to remain alert and continuously monitor the pool.
• Physically capable of performing rescues and assisting individuals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain safe conditions.
• Respond to emergencies including water rescues.

Skills

Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

First Aid
