Continental Pools is looking for seasonal Lifeguards to join our team in Maryland. As a Lifeguard, your role includes monitoring pool areas for safety, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies like water rescues. Applicants must have a current Lifeguard certification and be physically able to assist distressed individuals. Qualifications

• Meet minimum age requirements for lifeguards per applicable laws.
• Current Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent) is required.
• Customer service or prior pool experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure patron safety and prevent accidents.
• Enforce pool rules and maintain a safe swimming environment.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies, including water rescues.

Skills

Ability to remain alert and continuously monitor the pool area

Current Lifeguard certification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Physically able to perform rescues
