Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California seeks a Seasonal Lead Cold Weather Case Manager to oversee coordinated entry for shelter access in Colorado during severe weather. You will supervise the team, schedule shifts, perform intake, triage, and ensure HMIS data entry and voucher processing per HUD standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.
• Two years’ casework experience required.
• Experience with diverse populations required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of integrated database applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for information on cold weather shelter and resources.
• Triaging, VISPDATs, and rapid resolution assistance.
• Schedule shifts for Cold Weather Case Managers.
• Coordinate with Bayaud on-site staff during events.
• Enroll families for vouchers and shelter waitlists.
• Provide financial assistance when appropriate.
• Document calls in internal database; HMIS data entry.
• Complete eligibility assessments per HUD standards.
• Provide trauma-informed care to deescalate situations.
• Support supervisor with special assignments and projects.
• Perform other duties as required.
