Job summary

Winston Taylor is seeking a Temporary Law Student Recruiting Assistant to support the Law Student Recruiting team in Dallas and Houston, based in the Houston office. The role requires in-office presence five days a week with an anticipated duration through March 2027, contingent on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1+ years of law firm or client service experience preferred.
• Legal recruiting experience is preferred.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
• Experience with LinkedIn and social media is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with law student and entry-level recruiting for the Dallas and Houston offices.
• Support full-cycle recruiting and prepare candidate files.
• Assist onboarding entry-level and lateral associates and off-track attorneys.
• Coordinate law student interview programs and sponsorship events.
• Plan office events and maintain recruiting data in the database.
• Enter candidate information in viDesktop accurately.
• Provide support on special projects and administrative tasks.
