Job summary

Sur La Table in Murray, UT is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to spark memorable customer experiences and drive store performance. You’ll interact with guests, share product knowledge, and help keep the floor vibrant during the holiday season.

This role emphasizes teamwork, flexible hours (12–16 per week, including nights, weekends and holidays), strong communication, and a willingness to learn. Prior retail experience is preferred, as is proficiency with basic computer POS systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, customer-centric experiences.
• Assist in daily operations, process transactions, returns, and price checks using the POS system.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and contribute to store revenue, with KPIs tracked.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, inclusive, high-performing store culture.
• Support onboarding of new associates by sharing product knowledge and best practices.
